Answers to the most important questions about Packster.
Can I delete an item?
Yes, but only custom items. Long press on the item, scroll down in the dialog and tap "Delete". Predefined items cannot be deleted – but you don't have to use them.
Why can't I change some names?
Predefined items have fixed names so they display correctly in all 18 languages. You can instead create your own item with your preferred name.
What do the colors mean?
Orange = on your packing list
Green = available, but not on the list
What do the small symbols on the tiles mean?
Number top right = Quantity
! top left = Marked as important
Camera symbol = Has a photo
How do I change the quantity of an item?
Long press on the item, then use the +/- buttons in the dialog.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No, all data stays locally on your device. Good for privacy, but remember: A backup of your iPhone also backs up your Packster data.
What languages is Packster available in?
German, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Hindi.
